Empowering People to Live Independently Through Person-Centred Support and Community-Based Living

We are proud to provide specialist support to people with complex needs including behaviours that may challenge. Through our supported living and residential care services, we provide warm and inclusive environments where people with complex behaviours can achieve positive outcomes whilst enjoying as much independence as possible.

We recognise that there are many reasons why a person might display complex behaviours, so we offer flexible support solutions that are adapted to the unique needs of each individual. Our specialist multidisciplinary teams draw on a number of positive and pro-active strategies to reduce stress and anxiety whilst always maintaining dignity and respect for the people we support.

Our individually-tailored support plans focus on risk management and positive behaviours support to reduce the frequency and intensity of behaviours of concern. This allows each individual we care for to receive the specialist support they need to live a full and enriching life.

Our Residential and Supported Living Services

Since we support a wide range of ages and abilities, each Liaise home has its own distinct character and personality. We work with the people we support and their families to help them find accommodation options that match their needs and wishes.

We foster calm and relaxing environments that empower people to build confidence and grow their everyday life skills with the appropriate safeguards in place to support people with complex behaviours.

With the support and partnership when required of our local community therapeutic specialist teams, we work closely with each individual to understand the underlying cause of their behaviours. This allows us to proactively reduce triggering factors and implement positive strategies that lead to a reduction in complex behaviour and help improve quality of life.

Our approach is guided by the principles of “person-centredness”. This means the support we provide is always personally tailored to the specific needs and wishes of each person we support.

We Offer a Wide Range of Services and Activities Including:

  • Daily activity programmes tailored to the capabilities of each individual
  • Support in finding employment, education or volunteering opportunities, where appropriate
  • Through opportunities and with guidance, we help each person to develop relationships that are meaningful to them
  • Outings and trips into the local community
  • Regular social events, both in home and in the community
  • Support that enables the growth of practical home focused skills such as cooking, housework and decorating.
  • Each person is supported within a person-centred framework, to develop their community skills such as shopping, banking and the management of health appointments
